On 12th August 2024 , Awareness on Anti-Drug and Tobacco Free society Awareness programme was held to explain the harmful effects and danger in drug addiction.

31st Annual Sports Day Celebration 2024
“Sports play an important role in shaping the life of every child”.
On 20th July 2024 , 31st Annual Sports meet was held with August presence of the Chief Guest Tmt. Sujatha Ananda Kumar, M.A., B.Ed., Honourable Mayor, Vellore City Corporation along with School Committee Members Thiru. S. Prakash, Advocate, Thiru. T.S. Udayasankar, Industrialist, Thiru. P. Saravana Prasad, Engineer sir with Headmistress mam and Assistant Headmistresses mam. The Chief Guest declared the Sports Meet open by lighting the torch. Welcome speech was given by Headmistress, Prizes were distributed and various events were held on the day.
134th Founder’s day Celebration 2024
“ The Journey continues, and the impact grows”
We celebrated our 134th Founder’s day on 18th July 2024 with great enthusiasm. The day commenced with the presence of our school committee members Thiru. S. Prakash, Advocate, Thiru. T.S. Udayasankar, Industrialist , Thiru. P. Saravana Prasad, Engineer with Headmistress and Assistant Headmistresses by lightening the lamp. Classes X, XI,XII Public Examinations school toppers were honoured. The celebration ended in a bliss full way.
Inauguration Of Clubs 2024
“Clubs are the instruments through which one can find their hidden Talent”.
The inauguration of various clubs of our School for the academic session 2024-2025 was held on 15th July 2024 with the gracious presence of Dr.A.Meena M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil., Ph.D., Asst. Professor Tamil Department, Voorhees College, Vellore, along with Headmistress and Assistant Headmistresses. The Club secretary along with the incharge teachers displayed the poster of various clubs. The Chief Guest delivered motivational speech followed by various cultural programme.
30th Annual Day Celebration 2024
Under the quite, winding down, ending part of a day, Students of Ethiraj Matric.Hr. Sec.School celebrated 30th Annual Day with open arms and joyous heart on 27th January 2024 in the gracious presence of Thiru.Shankar Viswanathan, Vice President of VIT, Vellore .
RTE Ceremony 2024
“Education is not a luxury. It is a basic human right
Equity in education ensures that this right is upheld for all”
The inaugural ceremony of RTE (Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education) Act was held on 28.05.2024 in the presence of Thiru Ravi of Vellore District Educational Officer Private along with Headmistress and Assistant Headmistresses in Ethiraj Matric.Hr.Sec.School. The RTE Act was enacted on 4th August 2009 and it commenced on 1st April 2013. The Right to Education Act guarantees the provisions of Free and Compulsory Education to Children(LKG TO VIII STD).
World Environment Day 2024

World environment was celebrated in our school on 14th June 2024. Under the guidance of Headmistress and Assistant Headmistresses. Our School NGC Co-ordinators has spread the awareness to save and protect the environment by taking oath , conducting Rally, donating and planting saplings in school premises.
